Attollo Prep 2025
An educational social media campaign created for the Lancaster community to honor and reflect on the powerful contributions, achievements, and resilience of Black leaders today. The campaign highlights influential Black voices from Lancaster and beyond across various digital platforms.
The art direction draws inspiration from the Civil Rights Movement, aiming to visually echo the power of stories that deserve to be seen and heard. During Black History Month, the intentional use of varied typefaces helps celebrate the richness and diversity of Black culture and history. Many of these fonts were inspired by Tré Seals, founder of Vocal Type, who designs typefaces that give voice to the often-overlooked narratives of the Black experience through typography.
Celebrates Black History Month
Tré Seals is the designer behind the type featured in our Black History Month campaign. Read more about him and see more of his history-infused type design here.
COLOR PALETTE
The colors associated with Black History Month—red, black, green, and yellow—hold deep significance as they are derived from the Pan-African flag, a symbol of unity, pride, and heritage for people of African descent worldwide.
